Olivia de Havilland was an British-American actress.

With a career that spanned from 1935 to 1988, the two-time Oscar winner appeared in 49 feature films, best known for her roles in Gone with the Wind (1939), The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), and The Snake Pit (1948).

De Havilland had roles in Captain Blood (1935), The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936), Dodge City (1939), Santa Fe Trail (1940), The Strawberry Blonde (1941), They Died with Their Boots On (1941), The Dark Mirror (1946), The Heiress (1949), That Lady (1955), Lady in a Cage (1964), Hush…Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964), Airport '77 (1977), The Swarm (1978), and The Fifth Musketeer (1979).

De Havilland also made appearances in several television series and telefilms including North & South: Book 2, Love & War, The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana, Murder Is Easy, The Love Boat, Roots: The Next Generations, The Big Valley, and The Ed Sullivan Show.

In 1987, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Special for her role in Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna.

De Havilland died July 26, 2020, in Paris, France. She was 104.
