Greg Lake was a musician and performer who helped popularize progressive rock as one of the members of the British bands King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

Lake also scored a hit as a solo act in 1975 with “I Believe in Father Christmas.” He performed either solo or with one of his bands on the shows Beat-Club, Top of the Pops and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

His music was also featured on the soundtracks of multiple television series, including That ‘70s Show, Freaks and Geeks, Heroes, The Simpsons and Ash vs Evil Dead.

Lake died December 7, 2016, in London, England. He was 69.
