Frances Sternhagen was a two-time Tony winning American actress on television series, movies and off-broadway productions. She appeared on series including Cheers, The Closer, Sex and the City, and ER. Addtionally, she appeared in films including "Doc Hollywood," "It All Came True," "See You in the Morning," "Independence Day," and "And So It Goes." Some of Sternhagen's off-broadway credits include The Skin of Our Teeth, The Admirable Bashville, Driving Miss Daisy, Love Letters, and Steel Magnolias.
