Beginning May 19, Voting members come to Emmys.tv to screen For Your Consideration screeners
Screener submission guidelines below
On Monday, May 19, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will launch a website for For Your Consideration screeners, which will be accessed through the Television Academy’s website, emmys.tv. This new website will be secured, password protected and only accessible by the voting members of the Television Academy.
Submission Guidelines & Fees
To make your Primetime competition entry available as video on demand on the Television Academy website:
- Please email Sheri Ebner at ebner@emmys.org. If you wish to make your entry available by the May 19 launch date, please notify Ms. Ebner no later than Monday, May 12. You may contact her after May 12 if you wish to post your entry after May 19.
- The fee is the same rate for website postings at emmys.tv as the rate for mailed screeners.
- This year, companies and individuals may mail DVD screeners and use the screener website for the same charge as using just one of them — you will not be double-charged.
- If you use the website exclusively, you would not, of course, have the additional expenses of DVD replication, postage, packaging and fulfillment house charges if you post your program on the website.
Please keep in mind that this year, using the website exclusively may not reach as many members as it will in the future. Also, as with the traditional FYC screeners, the programs you post on the website are neither the property nor in any respect the legal responsibility of the Television Academy.
How will you know your program entry is posted and ready for viewing?
When your programming is posted, an email will be sent to the peer group(s) to which you wish your FYC order sent, notifying them that your FYC programming is available online at the Television Academy site. Your programming will remain on the website until Friday, August 29.
