| News Parker, Franz and LeBlanc Confirmed as Presenters Sarah Jessica Parker, Dennis Franz and Matt LeBlanc have been confirmed as presenters for the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The show will broadcast live from Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Auditorium, Sunday, September 19 (8 11 p.m. ET Live/PT tape delay) on ABC. Sarah Jessica Parker received an Emmy Award as producer on HBO’s comedy series Sex and the City. In addition she has earned six Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw along with four Golden Globe Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Parker has an extensive list of feature films to her credit such as State and Main, Mars Attacks, The First Wives Club, Substance of Fire, Miami Rhapsody, Ed Wood, Hocus Pocus, Honeymoon in Vegas, LA Story and Footloose. Four time Emmy Award winner Dennis Franz has earned eight nominations for his performance as Detective Andy Sipowicz on ABC’s NYPD Blue, which is in its twelfth season. The role has also earned him two SAG Awards and five SAG award nominations, five Viewers Quality Television awards and a Golden Globe. Other television credits include Hill Street Blues, Beverly Hills Buntz, Moment of Truth: Caught in the Crossfire, Texas Justice, Civil Wars, In the Line of Duty: Stand-Off at Marion, Nasty Boys, and he lent his voice to Officer Klegghorn of the Disney Afternoon animated series Mighty Ducks, which garnered him his first Daytime Emmy nomination. Franz has several feature films to his credit such as City of Angels, American Buffalo, Die Hard 2, Die Harder, The Package, Dressed to Kill, Popeye, Blow Out, Remember My Name, Perfect Couple, Body Double, Psycho II and A Fine Mess. Three-time Emmy nominee Matt LeBlanc will next be seen playing the title character in the highly anticipated NBC comedy Joey. LeBlanc's other credits include Friends, Charlie's Angels and its sequel Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle as well as All the Queen's Men and Lost in Space.
