Barton, Kimmel and Noth Confirmed as Presenters

Mischa Barton, Jimmy Kimmel and Chris Noth have been confirmed as presenters for the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.  The show will broadcast live from Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Auditorium, Sunday, September 19 (8 – 11 p.m. ET Live/PT – tape delay) on ABC.

Mischa Barton can currently be seen in Fox’s hit drama series The O.C.  Her other television credits include the Showtime feature Frankie and Hazel, the Disney telefilm Ring of Endless Light and an eight-episode arc on ABC’s Once and Again.  Barton has also had a very successful film career with roles in Octane, Lawn Dogs, The Sixth Sense, Notting Hill, Lost and Delirious, Julie Johnson, Skipped Parts, Tart and Paranoid.

Jimmy Kimmel is the host and executive producer of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live as well as the co-creator, with Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison, of the hit series Crank Yankers.  His other television credits include Comedy Central’s The Man Show that he co-hosted with Carolla, Fox NFL Sunday and Comedy Central’s long-running game show Win Ben Stein’s Money that earned him two Daytime Emmys for Best Game Show Host.  Kimmel’s production company, Jackhole Industries that he formed with Carolla and Kellison, also executive produced Windy City Heat which recently won this years’ Comedia Award at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.
