Visit FIDM Museum & Galleries to enjoy the surprising splendor of the more than 140 costumes and sketches from over 50 television programs, which comprise the Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design Exhibition. You will likely find that television and still photos hardly do these fine works of art justice.

Here we celebrate the creations of 41 acclaimed television costume designers from 1966 through 2006. A variety of television genres are present—westerns, sci-fi, primetime soaps, classic sitcoms, comedy/variety series, elaborate miniseries and movies of the week—giving visitors an opportunity to experience their favorite TV shows and characters in a whole new way.
