Vernon Kifer was a camera operator best known for his work on the hit NBC sitcom Friends. He worked on the entire run of the series, as well as its spin-off, Joey, which ran for two seasons.
Additionally, Kifer contributed to episodes of Seinfeld, Delta, Spin City, The Larry Sanders Show, Men Behaving Badly, Cybill, DAG, Veronica’s Closet, Three Sisters, Will & Grace, Rodney, Private Practice, Mike & Molly, Young & Hungry and Girl Meets World.
He also worked on the film For Better or Worse as well as the James Cameron 2009 blockbuster Avatar, serving as a reference camera technician on the latter.
Kifer died October 16, 2016, in Glendale, California. He was 63.
