Sol Negrin was a cinematographer and camera operator best known for his work on the 1970s TV series Kojak. Negrin was nominated for five Emmy Awards, three for Kojak, one for the telefilm The Last Tenant, starring Tony Lo Bianco and Lee Strasberg, and another for the series Baker’s Dozen.

Negrin also contributed to the series McCloud, St. Elsewhere, The Lucie Arnaz Show, Naked City, The Defenders, East Side/West Side, The Patty Duke Show, Fame, and Car 54, Where Are You?

Additionally, Negrin worked on the films Coming to America, starring Eddie Murphy; RoboCop; Frankenstein Meets the Spacemonster; Jaws 2; Superman, with Christopher Reeve; and Clean and Sober, starring Michael Keaton.
