Ray "Moosie" Turnbull
Ray "Moosie" Turnbull was a Canadian curling champion and sportscaster best known for becoming the longtime face of TV curling on The Sports Network in Canada.
Turnbull also called the curling competition for CBS at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, alongside Jim Nantz on the main anchor desk.
He played in his first Macdonald Briers championship at the age of 18, then won the Canadian curling title seven years later.
In 1985, he joined The Sports Network and worked as a commentator for 25 years.
