Mary Ann Minster

Mary Ann Minster was the awards manager in Comedy Central's public relations department. She retired from her position in 2013 at the age of seventy-five. 

After graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 1959, Minster began her career in television as an NBC page, then joined the staff on The Jack Paar Show, eventually beoming assistant to the producer. She also worked as a production assistant on The Merv Griffin Show before moving to NBC’s unit specializing in image building for network programs, personnel and services.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Minster, to whom she was married for 57 years; her children, Haley and Jay; and her four grandchildren.

Minster died on June 4, 2017, in Leesburg, Virginia. She was 80.
