Loretta Devine

Loretta Devine is known as "Marla Hendricks" on Boston Public, "Patti Dellacroix" on Eli Stone, and "Adele Webber" on Grey's Anatomy. Devine originated the role of "Lorrell Robinson" in the Broadway musical Dreamgirls. She starred as dormitory advisor "Stevie Rallen" on the TV series A Different World and played "Gloria Matthews" in Waiting to Exhale alongside Whitney Houston, Gregory Hines, and Angela Bassett. Among her other notable performances are her roles in Crash, I Am Sam, Urban Legend, and as "Maxine" on Everybody Hates Chris.
