Kathleen Miller was an actress best known for her roles in three Hal Ashby movies: The Last Detail, Shampoo and Coming Home.

In the classic Shampoo, her character had her hair dried by Warren Beatty, who played George, the hairstyling lothario at the center of the story.

The actress also appeared in the films Stay Hungry, Fighting Mad and Hotshot.

Additionally, Miller worked in television, appearing regularly on the short-lived 1970s sitcom Sirota’s Court. She also had small roles on Kojak, Cannon, Starsky and Hutch and the television movies The Chinese Prime Minister and Strange New World.

Miller died October 7, 2016, in Lynwood, California. She was 71.
