Johnny Duncan was an actor best known for his role as Robin the Boy Wonder in 1949’s Batman and Robin. The movie followed the caped crusaders as they battled against the Wizard, a black-hooded mastermind.
Duncan played Robin/Dick Grayson in the 15-chapter serial, opposite Robert Lowery as Batman/Bruce Wayne.
He also appeared on television, including roles on the series The Stu Erwin Show, The Ford Television Theatre, Public Defender, The Cisco Kid and Whirlybirds.

The Kansas-born actor got his start as a tap dancer, touring with acts that included the Will Mastin Trio, which featured Sammy Davis Jr. and his father. He was later discovered by a talent scout, and he and his whole family moved to Hollywood.
Duncan died February 8, 2016, in Davenport, Florida. He was 92.
