Jared Martin was an actor best known for his role as rodeo cowboy Dusty Farlow on the long-running CBS drama Dallas. Martin’s character died in a plane crash, but was brought back to life on the series by popular demand.
The actor also appeared on the series One Life to Live, The Partridge Family, Medical Center, Columbo, Shaft, The Rookies, Logan’s Run, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Waltons, How the West Was Won, Wonder Woman, CHiPs, Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, The Incredible Hulk, Hart to Hart, Fantasy Island, Knight Rider, The Love Boat, War of the Worlds, L.A. Law and Murder, She Wrote.
A former college roommate of filmmaker Brian De Palma, Martin also appeared in the director’s first and third films, Murder à la Mod and The Wedding Party.
Martin died May 24, 2017, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was 75.
