Frank Vincent was an actor best known for his role as mob boss Phil Leotardo on The Sopranos. Vincent portrayed the character, who eventually rose to become the boss of the Lupertazzi crime family, in 31 episodes of the hit HBO series, from 2004 to 2007.
Vincent also played tough guys in Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Casino.
Additionally, he appeared in the films The Pope of Greenwich Village, Brian De Palma's Wise Guys, Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing and Jungle Fever, Sidney Lumet's Night Falls on Manhattan, James Mangold's Cop Land, Shark Tale and Chicago Overcoat.
He also had roles on television, including the series The Paradise Club, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Swift Justice, New York Undercover, Law & Order, NYPD Blue, Stargate: Atlantis, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mr. Pickles and Walker, Texas Ranger.
