Bunny Stivers was a writer and producer best known for her work on the People’s Choice Awards and the annual Circus of the Stars specials.
She often worked with her late husband Bob Stivers, including work on The People’s Command Performance, Celebrity Daredevils and The Wildest West Show of the Stars.
The People's Choice Awards, created by Bob Stivers, first aired in 1975 on CBS. The couple sold the program to Procter & Gamble in 1982, and it is now property of NBCUniversal's E! Entertainment.
Stivers began her career in television in the 1950s in New York City, writing copy for the game show The Big Payoff and working for Dick Clark.
