Bob Silberberg was a sales executive for two decades at ABC and later CBS and the independent syndication company Role Entertainment.
Silberberg began his career at ABC in 1966 as an assistant daytime sales manager, ultimately rising the ranks to a role as senior vp and general sales manager, before moving to CBS as vp sales for news, daytime and children's programming.
He then served as executive vp and director of programming for Backer Spielvogel Bates, where he developed programming for the agency's clients. The company later transitioned into Role Entertainment, an independent syndication company that distributed the Sid & Marty Krofft animated comedy D.C. Follies, among other shows.
Silberberg died October 26, 2017, in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was 83.
