Lee Miller has served as producer, director, associate producer and more for a variety of television series, specials, sitcoms and made-for-television movies. His vast credits include such television events as the Oscar, Emmy and Tony awards telecasts; CBS 50th Anniversary; seventeen Jerry Lewis MDA telethons and the first Special Olympics opening ceremony; the People’s Choice Awards, Cable Ace Awards; Intimate Portrait; plus specials starring Cher, Doris Day, Garth Brooks, Mitzi Gaynor, Raquel Welch and Pam Tillis. Miller’s film credits include The Missiles of October, Sandcastles, A Guide for the Married Woman, Seizure: The Kathy Morris Story, The Man in the Santa Claus Suit, A Cry for Help: The Tracey Thurman Story, A Fine Romance and Lifestories. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s drama school, Miller served as a Television Academy Directors governor from 1995-1999, treasurer from 1997 to 2001 and has served on the Television Academy Foundation Board. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, as well as the Caucus for Producers, Writers and Directors.

A Primetime Emmy and Cable Ace award winner, Steve Binder has a long and distinguished career in the television industry. TV Guide called Binder’s production, as producer-director, of the NBC Elvis Presley “Comeback” special, “The second-greatest musical show in television history.” With a rain-swept background in Central Park, Diana Ross Worldwide from New York: For One and All was just one of many collaborations between the superstar and Binder. On two separate occasions, Binder has been guest of honor at an evening dedicated to his body of work at the Museum of Television and Radio, both in New York and Beverly Hills, and at the Museum of Rock ’n’ Roll in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to his service to the Television Academy, he is an active member of the Directors Guild of America, the Producers Guild of America and the Caucus for Television Producers, Writers & Directors. Binder is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, and in 2006 received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Columbia College-Hollywood.
